It’s a Shame ModCloth’s “Lena Denim” Dress Isn’t a Pair of Mesh “Shorteralls”

Seems like a missed opportunity, no?

ModCloth, the online retailer with impossibly cute descriptions of its "indie" and retro offerings released a denim dress inspired by  Lena Dunham, and aptly named Lena Denim. It does, in fact, look like something Hannah from Girls would wear around Brooklyn, in that it's short, has an elastic waist, and is a bit twee. Looking like the voice of a generation will run you $65. Also as is ModCloth's way, medium is already sold out.

What do you think? Do you dig the dress? I would have preferred a pair of shorteralls, or perhaps some sort of mesh tank. Do these designers even watch the show?
